Outdoor Console Table Time!

Last year I wanted to get an outdoor console table to use as a buffet/server on the patio.  World Market had one I liked, but we never took the plunge and by the time I looked again, it was sold out.  So now that we are gearing up for another spring/summer/fall on the patio (woo hoo) I wanted to once again check out my options.

There are not that many options out there, which I found strange, who wouldn't want a buffet/server outside?  Then of course a number of them are out of my price range.  I also noticed people would use old work benches or potting benches as their outdoor server.  So I have also looked at those online as options.

I could use your advice Lady Friends, which is better, an outdoor console table or an outdoor potting table to use as my server????  These options are available at World Market and I am wondering which to get?

(Other vendors have similar options too, but let's just stick with these in terms of deciding between the 2 options) (Also this console table is more for a covered porch and is supposed to be covered during rain, so I might need to check those other vendors again.)

To help you envision what I am talking about, check out these lovely inspiration photos.
Oh these images make me long for all the stupid snow to melt!!!!  Although I can see some small portions of my lawn so there is hope!

Please note on the above picture she added a towel rack and a bottle opener, which is also something I would probably do as well.  I was also thinking about putting one of those bottle openers on the garage door or one of the fence posts too.  And see she used the "sink" part of the potting bench to keep drinks chilled.

This picture above is the World Market Console I had eyed up last year and never got before it was sold out. : (  I thought the dark wood would have looked best with my black metal furniture.

I think this one above is my favorite, the chippy green, the pots mixed in with booze on ice! Is there anything better then the winning combo of a wine and plants?????

I realize this last one has nothing to do with serving or entertaining, but oh my it is lovely!  And I am sure when there is no party, I'll have gardening things on the table.
