Summer Vacation 09 - Adventures in "Thrift Storing"

So Erika and I are both in need of some cheap furniture so we decided to take a drive to while on vaca to do some Antiquing. And by "Antiquing" I mean "checking out dirty used furniture stores and thrift stores"! But we did well!

Dumb girls, where is your luggage going to go on the way home??? We figured it out, have no fear, all our pieces made it home to Jersey!

My end tables, which my dad will help me strip and stain darker to match my awesome new dining room table

I also got this random bench. Right now I will leave it as is (after a good Lysol wipe scrubbing) and put it on the screened porch....Perhaps one day it needs to be bright red though....

And Erika got this, not sure what you would call it, but it is fun. She is going to make it black with a new black and white patterned cushion.

"Thrift Storing" was fun! Might need to be a new hobby! We wanted to check out another town, but the beach was calling me and i needed to answer it.
