Valentines Day

I know this post is a bit late, but I wanted to share with you some Valentines Day pictures. 
We had a very nice valentines day in our house.  : )  Colin got me gorgeous flowers and I got him cupcakes, a t-shirt and a sweat shirt! haha

 

 

 

I had mentioned a Valentine's Day craft in my pitcher post, and here it is.  Nothing fancy, just some heart garland.  I had planned on ordering some on Etsy, but never got around to it.  So I whipped some up myself just in time for the 14th.

 

 

 

 

I never took a picture of my supplies, but I just got heavy weight scrapbooking paper, a heavy gauge needle and some thin string.  Yes a needle, it was an experiment, but it worked great.  It was in a multi-pack in the sewing section of Michaels.

 

 

Only mistake is that I sewed them too close to the bottom so they kept flipping over when I hung them....I needed to sew them closer to the top....Next time.  (So I just put tiny pieces of tape behind each one so they hung nicely...shhh don't tell anyone!)
